Putnam Sheriff’s Department’s Names Newest Deputies

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department has officially named its three newest deputies.

Deputies Loprieno, Sangalli and Carroll just graduated from the Westchester County Police Academy 147th Session Basic Police Recruit Class.

Deputy Varley, the Class Advisor and Defensive Tactics instructor, Sheriff Langley, Undersheriff Corrigan, Captain Jennings, Lieutenant McManus and Captain Tompkins appeared at the Deputies Ceremony to honor the new graduates.

“Sheriff Langley wishes Deputies Loprieno, Sangalli and Carroll long, successful and safe careers and is proud of their efforts," said the Putnam County Sheriff's Department in a press release. "Their hard work and excellent training will now be put to use to help serve and protect the community. Best wishes!”
